AZ Media Rescan | SD Card Scan 1.1.1

A media scanning application designed to scan and update all media files, including audio, video, and images, stored in both internal and SD card memory.

Have you encountered difficulties accessing your music, images, or videos? This app offers a solution by refreshing your media files, applicable to both internal and SD card storage.

Alternatively, if you seek to restrict access to your media files from other applications, you can utilize the .nomedia file in the respective directory. Doing so ensures that those files remain private and inaccessible to other apps.

Please note:

• If a directory contains a .nomedia file, the media files within that directory will not be accessible to other applications, even after a media rescan. Removing the .nomedia file is necessary for viewing those files.
• Adding or removing .nomedia files on the SD card is not currently supported by this application.

Permissions:

The application requires storage permission to scan and read media files.

Recommended: Experiment with the sample folder containing media files to understand the functionality of the .nomedia file.
